We aim to help your child understand the basic skills of the English language through interesting lessons so that they will be equipped to handle realistic future needs. We want them to be “up to standard” whilst also discovering the fun of language.
Our greatest achievements are when students develop a love of reading and when they initiate learning outside the classroom and bring it back to us. Students are not the only learners here; teachers learn new lessons from students every day: we Learn Together and Grow.
*Important: We use the EYEFS and Hong Kong Kindergarten curriculum guide for our students. We bridge the difference in Grades 3-5 into the Ontario Curriculum to build a solid language foundation for students to equip them for high school.
Who We Are

Ms. Glenda was born in Hong Kong and obtained her education both in Hong Kong and Canada. She is an experienced English kindergarten teacher from Hong Kong who specializes in phonics. She has taught students from the age of 2 to 18+, has over ten years of teaching experience, and 3 years of editorial experience at Oxford University Press (China) Ltd.

Ms. Glenda has exceptional experience in teaching English. Since returning to Markham in 2022, she has continued to teach.
Through to 2026, Ms. Glenda has moved from a personal space, to a professional space to help more students.
As each student has a different need, Ms Glenda has designed the courses personally, combining elements from the HK, UK, and Ontario Curricula to best benefit the stduents.
